Your personal health companion — medicine tracker & home remedy guide

🌿What is स्वाNiyam?

स्वाNiyam (SwaNiyam) is a personal health management app designed to help you take control of your well-being. It lets you track your planned and unplanned medicine intake, log symptoms, discover natural home remedies, and gain monthly insights into your health patterns — all in one place.

The name blends the Sanskrit word स्वा (self) with Niyam (rule/discipline), reflecting the app's philosophy: build your own healthy routine, your way.

Important: स्वाNiyam is a personal health logging tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Each medicine entry in your bag is linked to a specific plan name. You can add the same medicine under different plans (e.g., "Morning Routine" and "Post-Surgery Course") by creating separate entries in the Medicine Bag.
You can mark a dose as Skipped from the Upcoming Medicines card or the full medicine log. Skipped doses are tracked in your Insights so you can monitor your planned medicine completion percentage over the month.
Yes — after logging a symptom, there is a 2-hour cooldown period. During this time the Home tab displays a recap card of your last home remedy and a health tip card. Once the cooldown expires, the "How are you feeling today?" card reappears so you can log again.
The scanner uses your device's camera with on-device text recognition (Vision framework) to detect printed medicine names. It works best with clearly printed labels in good lighting. Once text is recognised it is automatically passed to the medicine search so you can confirm and add the correct medicine.
Our home remedy library currently covers common everyday symptoms including Fever, Cold, Cough, Headache, Acidity, Gas Problem, and several others. We are continuously expanding the library. Symptoms not yet in the library will display a message indicating no remedy is available at this time.
In the Medicine Bag tab, long-press (or press-and-hold) any medicine card to reveal the context menu. Tap Edit to update its schedule, plan name, frequency, dosage, or dates.
The Insights tab counts medicine log events (individual dose records) for the current month, while the Medicine Bag shows the total unique medicines stored. The two numbers will naturally differ because one medicine can have many daily doses logged over a month.
All your data — medicine logs, symptom entries, and profile information — is stored in a secure, authenticated cloud database (Supabase). Your data is tied to your unique user account and is never shared with third parties. Each API request requires a valid authenticated session.
No. A signed-in account is required to save your medicine bag, logs, and symptom history. This ensures your data is securely synced and accessible whenever you log in, even after reinstalling the app.
This message appears in the Medicine Bag when no medicines with schedules have been added yet. Tap the + button in the Medicine Bag tab to add your first medicine and set up a schedule for it.
